Our Youth

Since New Life Christian Outreach seeks to minister to the whole family, our youth ministry is a very important part of what we feel God has called us to provide. Giving our kids age-appropriate lessons and instruction in the word of God is one of our primary concerns.

Sunday Morning

On Sunday morning, all ages gather in the sanctuary for praise and worship. We believe this activity helps bring families closer together as we sing songs of praise to our Lord God and experience the move of God's spirit when we offer our praises to Him.

After praise and worship, our youth (8th grade and below) break out for their respective Sunday School classes. We firmly believe that our high school students are capable of handling the meat of the word and they are encouraged to stay with the adults for the main message in the sanctuary. This is beneficial to our adults and high school students – adults absorb the youth into the practices of a normal service and the high school students learn to take their place in the corporate study of the word of God.

For the very little ones, we offer a nursing room and complete nursery with cribs, changing tables and toys.

Sunday Evening*

Sunday evening is time for the Youth Invasion! It's a less structured and more energetic time for our youth (ages 1st – 12th grades) to get to leave their seat and have a great time. We enjoy loud Christian music, great snacks, fun activities and a relaxed devotion!

*Disclaimer: Sunday evening youth activities are cool and often messy. NLCO is not responsible for snow-cone stains on shirts, dirt/grass stains on pants and the huge smiles on faces! Prolonged exposure to loud music and fun games may result in: [1] feelings of excitement, [2] a sense of belonging to something that is bigger than one's own self, [3] a firm foundation in the Gospel and [4] an inexplicable desire to do the right things in life. You should seek the heavenly physician if you have lost your smile, have trouble finding things to be thankful for in your life or if you think the world will ever have your back.
